Philosophical challenges of computational social science
Measurements in the social sciences presents numerous problems which are usually not addressed. In this presentation, I discuss where the problems are coming from and all the issues we can face if we neglect the real nature of these measurements (e.g. claim reversal, uncertainty up to 100%, etc.). Finally, I address how we can solve most of these problems by suggesting a new paradigm for research in the social sciences.
